Madrid 360 Awards for Sustainable Mobility 2023: Call for Entries is Open!
The city of Madrid, under the Madrid 360 Sustainable Mobility Plan (2022-2030) is launching now a call for nominees for the Madrid 360 Awards: for Sustainable Mobility 2023.
The call for entries is now open in an effort to reward & recognise good practices and initiatives that promote sustainable mobility and intermodality and foster measures for non-polluting modes of transport, reduce emissions, minimise the polluting effects of road traffic, and promote accessibility to services.
The aim of the Madrid 360 Awards is to distinguish and reward good practices and initiatives in mobility, both in the public and private sector,institutions and any entity that is carrying out exemplary mobility projects. It is believed that by recognising those who promote change we can achieve improvement in a more efficient & successful way.
Requirements for applicants
All initiatives must have an impact on society and the environment and be active at the time of application. Projects may also be in a partial or full development phase at the time of application.
Additionally, the field of action must be the municipality of Madrid, irrespective of whether the project has been implemented in other countries, and the results, in whole or in part, must be provable.
All interested applicants must complete an application form on the Madrid City Council E-Office in order to participate.
The application must contain the following:
A brief description of the eligible project or initiative, supported by a dossier in Word or PDF format if necessary, providing more details on the mobility action.
The legal, technical, administrative & economic aspects had to be developed in order to carry out the implementation of the initiative.
An assessment of the success of the practices presented among the target population/ employees. Additional supporting data to verify this impact, e.g., e.g. number of users of a shared mobility service, satisfaction survey which encompasses the opinions of the target population, etc. All supporting data shall be submitted in digital form.
The possible impact of the measure on the most vulnerable groups of people (children, elderly, people with disabilities, people with lower incomes, gender impacts, etc.) should also be specified. Indicate whether the initiatives presented have indicators to measure their evolution over time and provide a brief description of these indicators.
Data verifying the environmental impact of the initiative e.g. estimated reduction of CO2 emissions, nitrogen oxides, reduction of noise levels, etc.
Documentation in digital format verifying the dissemination of the mobility action among the target population and the media coverage of the measure and its contribution to sustainable mobility: promotional videos, press clippings, e.g. news articles published, radio spots, social networks, Internet, etc., shall also be attached.

Prizes & Categories
Prize for the promotion of sustainable mobility: €20,000
The category is open to both public and private entities, as well as individuals, who have carried out actions to promote sustainable mobility, facilitate the use of public transport, cycling routes, etc.
Prize for the application of technology and innovation for the promotion of sustainable mobility: €15,000
This category is open to both public and private entities, as well as individuals, who have carried out activities that promote the use of innovation to enhance sustainable mobility.
Participants, through the application form, shall indicate the category of the prize for which they are applying. They may only apply for one prize.
