How Tangible Guidelines Promote Active Travel towards Events in Antwerp
Silke Lamoen from the City of Antwerp is responsible for promoting active travel towards events in the city. A tool that she recently launched is a set of tangible guidelines to help event organisers. The guidelines help them to quickly check what actions they should undertake to create a sustainable and accessible event. Read Silke's interview in full below.
Future Use Cases of Digital Information Resources Mapped in the Turku City Region
The status of information resources supporting digitalisation, automation, service provision in transport and the needs for development were examined In the Turku City region. The study provided information on the current status of information systems and actors, as well as on the legislative requirements and national plans related to the development of information resources.
The aim was to identify and prioritise the different use cases for information resources for short- and longer-term needs. The study focuses on the information resources and needs of regional actors, in particular the municipal sector. Based on the results of this study, a regional target state and development plan for information resources will be established.
SCALE-UP General Assembly Comes To a Close following the Consortium’s Half-Time Project In Madrid
The three-day General Assembly of SCALE-UP came to an end in the afternoon of Thursday, 20 April 2023 with the yearly Annual Event, which was also open to external, invited guests. All SCALE-UP partners took part in the meeting, uniting 58 professionals and 15 external speakers or guests.
The last day started with insights and feedback by the evaluation managers of TML, in order to update and display the measures, the overall progress and the upcoming activities.The Event consisted of two distinct Roundtables, focusing on achieving successful local, regional, national and EU multi-stakeholder cooperation and notable change, nudging travel behaviour effectively.
Eurocities Mobility Forum: Sharing Urban Mobility Insight on a Pan-European Stage
Eurocities Mobility Forum took place last month from 31 May to 02 June 2023 in Porto, Portugal. The attendees consisted of representatives of cities and Urban Nodes from all over Europe to exchange on the future of urban mobility and transport from a governmental perspective. The SCALE-UP partners had the opportunity to share best practices and innovative measure ideas and emphasise the callfor fellow cities of the project to the attendees.

Revolutionizing Mobility Hubs: Innovative Measures For Passenger And Freight
Central to the integrated approach of MOVE21 are three Living Labs in Oslo, Gothenburg and Hamburg. In these cities, 14 different types of mobility hubs and associated innovations are tested. The aim is to accelerate the deployment of clean and smart urban mobility solutions to improve the quality of life in European cities. The first innovations are now being implemented, some of which are highlighted below.
These include the development of mobility hubs, integrated transport services, new governance models, a reference architecture for goods and passengers transport, new business and collaboration models, and policy integration.
