Urban Mobility Days 2022 - Key Decision Makers Meet in Brno, Czech Republic
Find out about SCALE-UP’s presence and involvement in the UMD 2022, which took place in Brno (Czech Republic) on 20-22 September 2022. All recordings & presentations of the event are live now and 4 SCALE-UP partners were actively involved in the co-creation of the event!
An Event for European Transport Researchers - TRA 2022
SCALE-UP partners submitted & published 2 scientific papers in the conference proceedings and attended the conference in-person in Lisbon, Portugal on 14-17 November 2022. The partners also had the opportunity to present their work during Technical Sessions and within a Dedicated Agora Session.

Electric shared bicycles present throughout the Antwerp Transport Region
Four months after they first entered Antwerp, the orange shared bicycles from Donkey Republic are now present in the 32 municipalities of the Antwerp Transport Region.
The nearly 250 hubs in the municipalities will be further supplemented with additional shared bicycles in the coming months. 6 further municipal areas around Antwerp are also currently discussing their participation in the network.
Turku One Hour Train Ltd - An innovative collaboration model for railway initiative
The One-hour Turku Rail Link is one of the most substantial infrastructure projects in Finland at the moment. Although it is not part of the SCALE-UP project, it is an inspiring initiative involving the City of Turku.
Five railway plans will be produced during the planning stage that is currently underway, which will then be developed further toward the construction stage as individual entities. The project comprises two plans for a railway line between Espoo and Salo and three plans for a railway line between Salo and Turku.
